SAH CENTER: A PIONEERING HUB WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AND ENHANCED CAPABILITIES

Recently, a group of employees from the Erasmus+ National Office in Armenia, led by Lana Karlova, the Coordinator of the National Office of the Erasmus+ Program in Armenia, visited the newly inaugurated “Sustainable Architectural Heritage” (SAH) center at the university. This visit provided an opportunity to explore the center’s remarkable educational and technical offerings.

It is worth highlighting that the SAH center boasts state-of-the-art technologies and software, including computers, a 3D scanner, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. These cutting-edge resources will provide students, researchers, and professionals with the means to study, document, and restore historical structures using innovative and sustainable methods. Moreover, the center will serve as a hub for facilitating video conferencing on campus, thereby enabling knowledge sharing, the dissemination of best practices, and the exploration of innovative approaches to sustainable heritage conservation.
