Erasmus+ “Capacity Building in Sustainability for Architectural Heritage” (SAH) Project Kick Off

On 16-17 February, 2020 Erasmus+ “Capacity Building in Sustainability for Architectural Heritage” (SAH) project online Kick Off Meeting took place.
The event was organized with the participation of the representatives from the European project partner Universities: University of L’Aquila (coordinator, Italy), RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and National Technical University Of Athens (Greece); from Armenian project partner institutions: National University of Architecture and Construction, Goris State University and Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Armenia; from Iranian project partner universities: University of Tehran and Islamic Art University of Tabriz; as well as from Russian project partner institutions: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazan State University of Architecture and Construction, Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education and Samara State Technical University.
During the first day of the kick-off meeting welcome speeches were made by Lana Karlova, the Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia, and Anna Muravyova, the Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Russia. Anna Tozzi, the project coordinator from L’Aquila University, spoke about the main aims, planned actions and expected outcomes of the project. Massimiliano D’Innocenzo, a member of the Coordination Team of the University of L’Aquila , presented their university and described Working Packages. The role of Goris State University in the project, the tasks to be implemented and the responsibilities of the members of the working team were presented by Naira Safaryan, the Head of the Department of External Relations and Cooperation of GSU.
During the second day of the meeting, the participants discussed some points of the agreement between the project partner institutions, financial-administrative and technical issues, the formation of the working groups in the frames of the work packages, as well as the schedule of activities to be carried out and the future project meetings.
