Within its functions, the library work covers the scientific and educational sphere, including the development of the library system, replenishment of funds, book repair and preservation, provision of informational and professional literature for library users.
In the library of GSU there are Departments of Replenishment and Processing.
Department of Replenishment and Processing – funds, directories
In this section of the library, orderly and alphabetical directories are compiled, entered in the electronic version and work is done in the bookcases. The department also performs the following functions:
- bibliographic service,
- replenishment of the depository,
- classification and description of replenished books,
- circulation of books,
- damaged book repair.
