PROJECT MANAGEMENT MEETING IN THE FRAMES OF T-GREEN

On February 2025, a meeting of the Armenian and European coordinators within the framework of the Erasmus+ “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (T-GREEN) project took place in a hybrid format (online and in-person) at the Committee of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. Goris State University (GSU) was presented online by Z. Grigoryan, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs, N. Safaryan, Head of the Department of External Relations, Cooperation and Media, and S. Alaverdyan, Head of the Department of Quality Assessment and Quality Assurance. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the following issues:
- Work packages progress update (working language – English):
- a) WP3 – Development of institutional regulations and toolkit for credit recognition and double degrees (leadby EIU)
- b) WP4 – Development/reprofiling and piloting of green MA degrees (lead by ASUE)
- c) WP5 – Project Quality Assurance and Monitoring (lead by JU)
- d) WP6 – Dissemination, exploitation and awareness raising (lead by YSU)
Mr. Varazdat Hovhannisyan (from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, NUACA) presented information on the progress of WP3 and noted that a draft agreement has been developed, which will be signed by all partner universities involved in the project. Based on this agreement, joint/double educational programs will be implemented. The draft has been sent to all partner universities, and comments and suggestions have been received, based on which amendments have been made to the document. The final version of the agreement is ready, and the signing process will begin shortly.
Several important decisions were made regarding the further progress of the project.
- The universities will meet in the next week to find a solution regarding the joint/double degree study programs.
- The internal quality assurance report has to be submitted in the beginning of March by the Jagiellonian University leader of WP5 – Project Quality Assurance and Monitoring.
- The external expert has to be selected as soon as possible to organize the project external evaluation within WP5 led by the Jagiellonian University.
- A separate online meeting will be organized with the representatives of Jagiellonian University to discuss how the external audit has to be organized.
- The online International Conference has to be organized by the Erasmus Student Network Yerevan Youth (ESNY) as soon as possible within the WP4.
- Within the WP6 at least one dissemination event has to be organized by each university as soon as possible, and the appropriate materials have to be uploaded at the SIGMA platform.
