Pilot Teaching within Erasmus+CompIIT

From March 9 to June 15, 2026, pilot teaching of four modules designed within the framework of the CompIIT Erasmus+ Project was successfully conducted at Goris State Univesrsity.

The modules, delivered by Prof. Anush Davtyan, Prof. Artur Khojabaghyan from Chair of Mathematics and Physics, and Prof. Naira Safaryan, Head of Department of External Relations, Cooperation and Media.

The students from different delivering four innovative eLearning modules to students from different years of study.

  • eLearning Module 1: “Project Management Tool Box” for 2nd-year students of Informatics and Applied Mathematics;
  • eLearning Module 2: “Scrum & Kanban” for 1st year students of Informatics and Applied Mathematics;
  • eLearning Module 3: “Agile Management in Virtual Project Environments” for 3rd-year students of Electronics;
  • eLearning Module 4: “Communication for International Project Management” for 1st-year students of English and Literature

GSU trainers of the working group of CompIIT project have continued the use of the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) in the educational process for the first, second and third year students of different disciplines. (https://moodle.gorsu.am/?redirect=0)

Moodle accounts have been created for students using their DEE accounts, and access to the platform is provided through these credentials. Currently, all students are registered in the system and actively use its features.

Students have installed the Moodle mobile application on their smartphones and successfully use it as part of their learning process. Through the platform, they access course materials, receive notifications, follow course activities, and participate in assessment processes.

The process of uploading and organizing course content within Moodle is ongoing. A number of courses have already been added to the platform, and work continues to expand the range of available subjects.

As part of the Moodle implementation, midterm assessments have also been conducted through the platform, allowing us to practically utilize and evaluate Moodle’s assessment and grading tools.

The experience gained so far indicates that Moodle is an effective tool for managing educational content, monitoring student progress, and supporting digital assessment processes.
