Goris State University Implements Pilot Teaching Activities within the Erasmus+ CompIIT Project
As a partner institution of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project CompIIT Goris State University continues its efforts to modernize teaching and learning through innovative project-based and digital learning approaches.
Within the framework of the project, pilot teaching activities are being organized to test and improve newly developed e-learning modules. The development process involves lecturers, researchers, students from partner universities, and industry experts, ensuring that the educational content reflects both academic and labor market needs.
On this occasion, Anush Davtyan, Head of the Chair of Mathematics and Physics at Goris State University, conducted pilot teaching sessions aimed at evaluating the quality and effectiveness of the newly developed learning materials. These sessions provide valuable opportunities to collect feedback from participants, enhance the modules, and strengthen lecturers’ teaching competences through continuous reflection and improvement.
As part of the CompIIT project, Goris State University plans to integrate two innovative e-learning modules into its academic programs:
- Scrum and Kanban
- Agile Management in Virtual Project Environments
The modules will be incorporated into the curricula of the Bachelor’s degree programs:
- Informatics and Applied Mathematics (061101.02.6, full-time study)
- Electronics (071401.01.6, distance learning)
The pilot teaching phase is an essential component of the project’s agile development methodology, which emphasizes continuous improvement through testing, feedback collection, and annual updates of the learning materials. The overall coordination of these activities is carried out by Goris State University.
Through its active participation in the CompIIT project, Goris State University contributes to preparing students for digitalized, international, and project-oriented working environments while strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and industry.
