COIL (Collaborative online international learning)

On November 6, 2023, in the framework of Erasmus+SMARTI project and the cooperation between the Goris State University of RA and Liverpool John Moores University (UK), of GSU students also took part in the first Online Class (themed Collaborative Online International Learning) organized by Liverpool John Moores University. The Armenian students discussed common problems with students of John Moores University, YPC International College (Malaysia) and the University of Southern Brittany (France).

The hosts of the event were Dr Amanda Mason, Senior Lecturer, Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University, UK; Dr Farrah Robert, Head of Academic -UK Programmes, YPC International College,Malaysia; Eszter Gedeon, Université Bretagne Sud, France and  Mrs. Tereza Khechoyan, Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia.

Each of the participants of the event presented their country, university, their prospective goals, as well as proposed a way of self-introduction to highlight their best qualities.

The aim of the online class and discussions is to develop and improve the participants’ English communication and networking skills to help you stand out enhance establishment and expansion of international relations. Most of the participants were interested to visit Armenia and get to know the Armenian culture, traditions and cuisine firsthand.
